As night falls across the tropical reefs, the Horned Helmet emerges from beneath the sand to hunt. Reigning as the largest of all helmet shells, its immense, heavily armored shell is crowned with bold horns that shield it as it prowls the seafloor under the cover of darkness. Growing to an astonishing 16 inches in length, this formidable predator is one of the few natural hunters of the coral-devouring Crown-of-Thorns sea star. A true giant of the sea, it stands as a symbol of strength, resilience, and nature's guardian.

How should I care for my shells?
If shells appear dry simply apply a thin layer of high quality mineral oil as needed.
How should I care for my shadow boxes?
If the shells inside appear dry, gently open the metal tabs on the back and remove the inner card supporting the shells. Apply a thin layer of mineral oil to the shells as needed, avoiding contact with the cloth backing or frame.
If the acrylic front becomes scratched, use an acrylic scratch removal product like Novus, following the manufacturer's instructions.
Each piece is carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery. All items are protected with layers of cushioning wrap and secured with packing materials.
